Portland Community Transport Service is a transport service provided by Portland District Health to eligible clients.
The service is provided with assistance of volunteers and is available for eligible users for medical appointments and access to community services. The service can also be used for visits to friends and relatives in hospital, or care and for one-off-social visits.
All clients who wish to use the service must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for transport:
Any member of the public can contact the service without referral or a service provider can contact the service on behalf of the client.
Please give as much notice as possible and the co-ordinator will contact you by telephone.
Please note there is a fee for this service.
