As a board member you can become involved in the strategic planning of services and activities taking place at the centre.

You will be in a position to listen to the clients and consumers in the community to ensure that The Centre is meeting the health needs of community members. You can directly influence the Health Services available to your Community as a representative on the board.

How to become a Board Member

The Annual General Meeting of the Bush Nursing Centre occurs in August each year. All financial members of the Centre are eligible for appointment to the Board and receive a notice of the AGM by post, 14 days prior to the meeting.

Nomination forms are required to be completed and returned to the administration officer 7 days prior to the meeting.

New Board members will receive an orientation to the role and will be well supported by other Board members and staff.

For more information on becoming a board member please contact the Bush Nursing Centre on 5570 1304.
