Position Description:
Limited Tenure (24.08.2015 to 08.02.2016) Maternity Leave Replacement Hours available up to full time REF # 15/055

Colac Area Health currently has an opportunity for a Registered Midwife to join our busy Maternity Services team.

 The successful applicant will have;

  •  Dual registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated capacity to work across the full role and scope of practice of a midwife
  • Ability to demonstrate recent, contemporary and evidence based midwifery practice
  • Demonstrated ability to manage maternity emergencies
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster with varying demands and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to organise work in a systematic way, accurate and timely manner be flexible in a changing environment
  •  Flexibility to work as a Registered Nurse as demand requires
  • Computer literacy
  • A professional friendly, team player disposition who is capable of representing the department and organisation effectively
