Employment: Exercise Physiologist

This permanent position is available from the start of May 2017, for a suitable applicant.
This position is full-time, 80 hours per fortnight with monthly accrued day off.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Hold a bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or equivalent, with a masters /graduate diploma in exercise physiology
Recent experience working in the field of Exercise Physiology
Full member of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
Demonstrated ability to work within the code of conduct and ethical principles as outlined by ESSA
ESSA Accreditation as EP
Current practicing experience in the field of Exercise Physiology in either private practice and/or public healthcare
Be eligible for Medicare Benefits Scheme Provider
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy.
Current Victorian drivers license.
Current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
Desirable, but not essential:
Experience working with diverse groups including people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background
Knowledge of private health and other funding programs including Workcover
Knowledge of population health needs and chronic disease management
