Employment: Physiotherapist - Grade 1

This full-time position is available for a 12 month period, with the potential to extend to a permanent position, for a suitable applicant. This position is for 80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly accrued day off.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent and be eligible for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to work within the code of conduct and ethical principles as outlined by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), working across a broad clinical settings in a public rural health service
  • Professional written, oral and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy.
  • Flexibility in availability (as some out of hours work may be required)
  • Current Victorian drivers license
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Understanding of ACFI and provision of physiotherapy services to Residential Aged Care Services (desirable but not essential).
